Spotlight Partner Course: Bluff Point Golf Resort
From the moment you turn into Bluff Point, you’ll know you’re in for a memorable golf experience. Lined by one-hundred-year old majestic cottonwood trees, the course is beautifully maintained and nestled on picturesque Lake Champlain. In the backdrop, you’ll see the Green Mountains of Vermont and the inspiring Adirondack Mountains of New York. The views are unsurpassed and the golf is even better.
This historic property welcomed famous vacationers like former U.S. Presidents, the baseball great, Babe Ruth, and business tycoons like the Astors and the Vanderbilts. Legends of this historic pastime played in the glory days of the game: Walter Hagen returned here after claiming victory in the British Open, and the late great Gene Sarazan also played here. Located south of Plattsburgh in northern New York, Bluff Point Golf Resort is a special sanctuary for golfers. This course has stood the test of time and is considered one of the oldest resort golf courses in the United States.
Their Championship course was designed by Albert W. Tillinghast, renowned for his courses throughout the world, such as Baltusrol Golf Club, Bethpage Black, and Winged Foot.
Bluff Point offers a recently renovated pro shop overlooking the first hole and Lake Champlain. After your round you can relax and have a drink at our Lake View Patio.

Spotlight Destination Course: Sagamore Golf Course
Honored by Golf Magazine as one of its Silver Medal Resorts, the 18-hole Sagamore Golf Course commands stunning views of Lake George and was designed and built under Donald Ross’s personal supervision in 1928. As part of a $75 million restoration in 1985, this exceptional hillside course was fully restored in accordance with Ross’s original blueprints.
In classic Ross fashion, The Sagamore Golf Course uses the natural environment to give each hole its challenge and beauty. The holes are routed naturally through an upland meadow and the Adirondack woods, where white birches enliven the evergreen forest. To accent the rolling mountainside terrain, Ross planted heather from his own native Scotland within the meadow. Lush fairways are narrow and lined with hardwoods, while deep bunkers surround undulating greens. The Sagamore’s par 70, championship course is located on the mainland and also features a practice range, professional instruction and a fully-stocked Pro Shop.
Golf Digest rated The Sagamore Golf Course as the “5th Best Public Course in New York State.” This legendary Lake George golf course has also been honored with the “Greens of Distinction” award from Corporate and Incentive Travel and named a “top U.S. resort course” by Condé Nast.
NEXT STOP – PITTSFORD, VT.
ABOUT ROAD TO ORLANDO
2016 has been a huge year for Chronogolf, thus far. We raised our second round of financing, signed a ton of new courses all over the world, and grew our sales and engineering with rockstar talent. We want to finish the year off strong, and kickstart 2017 in Orlando, FL with a bang.
Over the next 9 weeks, we’ll be travelling down the east coast of the US – kicking things off from our Montreal headquarters with a goal of reaching Orlando by January 25th 2017 – just in time for the PGA Merchandise Show. It will be our first time exhibiting at the show, so we really want to make an experience out of it. Catch us at booth #3005 in the Technology Pavilion.
